How It Works

Six structured stages — from expert registration to session closure — governed by the NRT Department at every step.

Expert Registration & Consent

Global Tamil experts register on the portal, provide domain expertise, credentials, availability, engagement preferences, and confirm voluntary participation through a consent declaration.

NRT Verification Queue

Upon submission, the expert profile enters the NRT Verification Queue. Only after departmental approval does the masked profile become visible to institutions — pre-emptive control, not post-facto correction.

Browse & Submit Proposal

Tamil Nadu institutions browse the system-generated masked expert list, filter by domain, shortlist experts, and submit an engagement proposal — specifying topic, mode, and proposed dates. No personal contact details are visible.

NRT Mediation & Routing

The request never goes directly to the expert. The NRT validates institutional eligibility, domain alignment, and compliance with voluntary/non-commercial rules — then routes the approved request to the expert.

Expert Response

The expert reviews the routed request and may accept as proposed, suggest alternate dates or mode, or politely decline. The response is captured in the NRT dashboard — the Department retains full visibility at all times.

Confirmation & Session Closure

NRT validates the expert's response and confirms the session. The system auto-generates a unique session ID and secure credentials. After the session, attendance and outcomes are recorded for departmental analytics.
